Ebel Watch is a popular brand name all over the world. Renowned for its soft contours and appealing colors, this brand offers both chic and sports wristwatches.
The Ebel brand (Eugène Blum Et Lévy) was registered as company in 1911 by husband and wife team Eugène Blum and Alice Lévy. Theirs was a small business that was initially a well-established brand name amongst their peers. A few years down the line, the company had consolidated their brand as a high quality watch that was renowned for its attractive rounded shapes as well as classy sports designs.
The company was a trendsetter in many different ways. They pioneered the "Western Electric" precision evaluation system which of course added to the appeal of the Ebel watch. In mid 1960, they won the award in the jewel watch category at Swiss National Exhibition. This was a a good reflection of the intricate details that comprise the Ebel watch.

Ebel watch models were and are still much sought after accessories. The Châtelaine and the President were two of their popular models prior to the 1970s. Both were excellent examples of the way Ebel watches mixed simplicity with timeless elegance. Their Sports Classique model from the late 1970s was a bit hit, so much so that they were offered to create watches for Cartier.
In recent year, the company has been undergoing a makeover of their brand image and is incorporating aspects of modern designs into their own design styles.
